WHAT IS A CLIMBING RALLY?

The Rally consists in climbing as many very long routes as possible (between 200 and 500 m. high each), located in the wall of “les Bagasses” and nearby walls.

Each climbing route has a score depending on its length, its difficulty, the complexity of its route, types of equipment, etc.

The sum of points determines the Rally’s winner team at the end of the 12 hours.

The Rally starts at 8 am and ends 12 hours later. Once finished the 12 climbing hours points for each climbing team are recorded depending on all the routes completed entirely.

There is a regulation which requires the taking of security standards for each team, emphasizing the requirement to assemble meetings, therefore forbidden assemblies, wear a helmet during all the competition, use double rope, carry a cell phone, etc. Here you can check directions for descending as well.
